The Norwegian striker scored twice in Norway’s Round of 16 victory over Brazil on Sunday, taking his tournament tally to seven goals and drawing level with Messi and Mbappe.

Messi was the first player to reach seven goals after scoring in Argentina’s win over Cape Verde on Friday. Mbappe matched the feat a day later by finding the net in France’s victory over Paraguay, leaving the pair tied at the top before Haaland joined them.
