Private ceremony reportedly held in Mumbai
First photo of Aamir Khan, Gauri Spratt’s reported wedding goes viral
The first photograph said to be from Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s reported wedding to partner Gauri Spratt has surfaced online, quickly drawing widespread attention from fans across social media.
The viral image appears to show the couple signing their marriage documents during what has been described as a private ceremony attended by close family and friends.
According to multiple reports, the ceremony took place on July 5 at Aamir Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area of Bandra. The photograph shows Aamir, dressed in an off-white traditional kurta, seated beside Gauri, who is wearing an elegant ivory embroidered outfit paired with a statement necklace and minimal jewellery.
The image also appears to capture Gauri’s young son from her previous marriage standing between the couple as they sign the marriage registry, while Aamir’s youngest son, Azad Rao Khan, is reportedly seen beside his father.
Reports suggest the intimate ceremony was attended by around 100 to 150 guests, including close family members, childhood friends and a handful of film industry personalities. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker was reportedly among those present.
The venue was said to be decorated with pastel floral arrangements and candlelight, creating a warm and understated setting for the celebration.
According to reports, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt first met nearly 25 years ago before losing contact. They reportedly reconnected in 2024 through Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan, in Bengaluru and later continued a long-distance relationship.
Aamir introduced Gauri publicly as his partner during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025. Reports also claim that she later moved to Mumbai and became associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
If the reports are confirmed, the ceremony would mark Aamir Khan’s third marriage. The actor was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the couple announced their separation in 2021.
The reported wedding has sparked a wave of reactions online, with many fans applauding the couple for keeping the celebration simple and private. Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in as the first alleged wedding photograph circulates across social media.
However, neither Aamir Khan nor Gauri Spratt has officially confirmed the wedding at the time of writing.
