PM’s Cloud Program for Startups: Check How to Apply

ISLAMABAD: The government has opened applications for the Prime Minister’s Cloud Program for Startups, offering eligible Pakistani startups cloud expense reimbursements of up to $13,500 to help reduce technology costs and accelerate business growth. Applications are open until July 10, 2026.

The initiative, managed by Ignite under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, is designed to support startups in launching, testing and scaling their products through access to cloud infrastructure and expert technical guidance. Selected startups will also have the flexibility to choose the cloud service provider that best suits their business requirements.

Under the program, startups can receive reimbursement in two stages. In Tier 1, eligible businesses can claim up to 60% reimbursement, capped at $6,000, after spending $10,000 on cloud services. Startups that successfully complete Tier 1 may qualify for Tier 2, which offers up to $7,500 in additional reimbursement, covering 30% of eligible cloud spending.

How to Apply

  • Submit an online application through the official Ignite PM Cloud Program portal.
  • Provide the required startup and business details.
  • Eligible applicants will be evaluated based on the program criteria.
  • Selected startups will receive cloud advisory support, technical assistance and reimbursement for eligible cloud expenses after completing the required process.

The government says the initiative aims to strengthen Pakistan’s startup ecosystem by encouraging wider adoption of cloud technologies, reducing operational costs and helping innovative businesses scale more efficiently.
