The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a busy international home season featuring Sri Lanka and England, with matches scheduled from October 9 to November 21. Pakistan will host a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, followed by a three-nation ODI series involving England and Sri Lanka and a two-match Test series.
The upcoming fixtures will give Pakistan valuable opportunities to strengthen its squads across all three formats while also providing international cricket fans with an action-packed schedule at venues in Rawalpindi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Pakistan to Host Sri Lanka in T20I Series
Sri Lanka will be the first visiting side, beginning its tour with a three-match T20I series against Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The three T20Is are scheduled for October 9, 11 and 13, with all matches set to be played in Rawalpindi.
The series is expected to provide both teams with an important opportunity to assess players and combinations ahead of future international assignments.
England Joins Pakistan and Sri Lanka for ODI Tri-Series
Following the T20I series, England will join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for a seven-match ODI tri-nation series running from October 18 to October 31.
The tournament will open in Rawalpindi, where Pakistan will face Sri Lanka on October 18, followed by Pakistan’s meeting with England on October 20. Sri Lanka will then take on England on October 22.
The action will subsequently move to Lahore. Pakistan will face England on October 25, followed by Pakistan’s clash with Sri Lanka on October 27. Sri Lanka and England will play the final league fixture on October 29.
The top two teams in the standings will qualify for the final, which is scheduled for October 31 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Sri Lanka Test Series to Follow ODI Tournament
After the completion of the ODI tri-series, Sri Lanka will remain in Pakistan for a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6.
The warm-up fixture will be followed by a two-match Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.
The first Test is scheduled to take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 9 to 13, while the second Test will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21.
The Test series will represent Pakistan’s second home assignment in the current World Test Championship cycle.
