FAISALABAD: Nishat Group has achieved a major milestone in Pakistan’s automotive industry by assembling its 10,000th locally manufactured OMODA & JAECOO vehicle, just eight months and one day after rolling out its first locally assembled unit.
The landmark achievement highlights one of the fastest production milestones in Pakistan’s automotive sector and reflects the growing demand for next-generation vehicles, particularly New Energy Vehicles (NEVs).
The company began local production with its Start of Production (SOP) event on December 2, 2025. Since then, the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Faisalabad has rapidly expanded production, reaching the 10,000-unit mark in record time.
Industry observers say the milestone demonstrates the increasing acceptance of OMODA & JAECOO among Pakistani consumers and underscores the country’s growing appetite for technologically advanced, fuel-efficient, and environmentally friendly vehicles.
When OMODA & JAECOO entered the Pakistani market in late 2025, the brand was relatively unknown to local buyers. Within months, however, it has emerged as one of the country’s fastest-growing automotive brands, driven by rising customer confidence, an expanding dealership network, and continued investment in local manufacturing.
According to the company, the achievement represents more than just production numbers. It reflects Pakistan’s evolving automotive landscape, where consumers are increasingly embracing modern mobility solutions powered by advanced technologies and new energy platforms.
The rapid production growth has also strengthened Pakistan’s local automotive manufacturing ecosystem by supporting industrial development, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing local assembly capabilities.
Nishat Group has continued investing in expanding production capacity while strengthening its nationwide sales and after-sales network to meet growing customer demand.
Industry experts believe the successful assembly of 10,000 vehicles in such a short period signals increasing confidence in Pakistan’s automotive sector and highlights the potential for further growth in local vehicle manufacturing, particularly in the fast-expanding New Energy Vehicle segment.
The milestone reinforces Nishat Group’s commitment to advancing Pakistan’s automotive industry through modern manufacturing, innovation, and the localisation of global automotive brands.
